Rachel Viney is a communications specialist. For a number of years she was a policy executive at the Independent Television Commission, having previously worked in radio and in publishing. As a media consultant, her clients have included the BBC and other leading broadcasting bodies, arts and cultural organisations and international NGOs. As a writer and editor, her credits include newsletters, reports, brochures, websites and press materials -- together with books and articles. Organisations wanting to raise their profile with the people they need to influence will benefit from Rachel's in-depth understanding of the media and the communications process.
Away from the day job, Rachel enjoys Nordic crime novels, collecting pots and horse racing. She is also working her way very slowly through a book of Su Doku puzzles.
